Rođen je 26. lipnja 1955. u Splitu. Roko Andričević holds Ph.D. from the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, University of Minnesota, USA, (1988) in the subject area of management of water resources systems under uncertainty. During 1990-1998 prof. Andričević was responsible for developing research programs in environmental engineering and scientific projects in the field of reactive transport of radionuclides in the subsurface and evaluation of ecological risk, funded from National Scientific Foundation (NSF) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In 1998 prof. Andričević has returned to the Croatia at the full professor position in the Civil and Architectural Engineering Faculty, University of Split. From 2002, he was nominated to the public office in the position as the Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Physical Planning, Republic of Croatia. From 2006 prof. Andričević was appointed as a Dean of Civil and Architectural Engineering Faculty, University of Split and since 2008 prof.Andričević is acting as a vice-rector for science and international relations at the University of Split. Prof. Andričević is currently teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the field of water resources, environmental engineering and stochastic modeling. He is serving as an international expert for EU related projects and he is the author of one book and author of more than 70 scientific papers published in international Journals including research and technical reports. |
